I see a golden opportunity for Farmer to push for Hale. He would have a shoulder to lean on in any big decision he feels under qualified for. It's the dream opportunity for anyone trying to be an AD when you don't have the skills to truly be one. This is extremely short sighted by him. He has a golden parachute...and isn't smart enough to realize it.

Frustrating indeed. On the one hand this whole thing seems absolutely bizarre, on the other, logical, based on the accepted principal of protecting the privacy of those who have applied and made the final cut.

I'll continue to withhold judgment until more "official" information is forthcoming. That's about all I can do at this point. It would be interesting though if those who are close to Mr. Hale could get his input on what the heck is going on, off-the-record, of course.

Oh, God the stealth myth again.

There is nothing this league gives us that we do not earn, there is nothing this league can say or do to us for saying we are working to improve our conference home as soon as possible, we are actively working to find a better home.

It is an absolute BS myth that we have to watch what we say. You cannot find one single thing Benson has ever done for UL that he is not required to do by conference rules. Conversely what can he do to hurt us? He cannot afford to kick us out, he does not pick our bowl, only robs us, he cannot keep us out of the NCAA tournament in anything.

I'm pretty sure you can find some earthshaking thing he has power to hurt us in, like maybe UL-L initial issue. Nope he sided with ULMost.

Right now UL is an unwelcomed guest in the SBC.

5. I am a little disgusted by all of the name calling and the declarations of some as "mouth pieces for the administration" in these threads. There is more than one opinion concerning just about everything and just because someone has a differing opinion that you do, that does not necessarily make them any kind of infidel. We are all fans here and (I would hope) no one wishes the RCAF to fail.
