If you mean the TE, he tore his ACL, I believe.

Was referring to Mathew Barnes the tight end/receiver.

Can anyone honestly say they would feel better about the office with Nixon behind center instead of Haack? I sure cant.

Agreed! In my opinion, we should only be running wildcat in short yardage situations or maybe twice during the game to pull the LB and DBs up a little.

Some people think Haack runs like he has concrete blocks attached to his feet. While not as quick and fast as some of our other QBs, he has more than enough athleticism to keep defenses wary of his feet.

Im not worried about QB or WR we pay Hud more than enough money to make that decision and he knows how Cajun fans can be. I m more worried that I have never been to a road game that we won and yes I m going to Kentucky I just hope my road losing streak can end.

    Worries:
DL - Ringo and Hamilton were a cut above our usual DL recruits
OL - very suspect in pass protection
CB - they have sucked for multiple years
    Then QB
The other worry is playing an SEC team first game. We have not looked good in any of our first games under Hud.

I listened to Coach Smith's interview about him wanting to play man to man. If he doesn't have the players we will not be able to play that. It's not as simple as some people say, "just play man". If you don't have fast skilled players you can't. So the first game I will be pleasantly surprised if we win.

On the offensive side of the ball, I have no idea how that's going to be.
