    You've got the veteran Robinson.
You've got the very promising SO in Fuselier, who showed stud-like Brandon Stokely type plays last year and who Hud already said has become a go-to type option.
You've got Riles, the converted WR from DB last year that showed he has good hands and is reliable.
You've got the somewhat unproven commodity in Devin Scott who didn't see much action last year but we know has talent.

Then, comes the freshmen. I'd be a lot more worried if the Freshmen were needed to be our starters. At this point, if they are starting, it means they've earned it. Really liking what I'm hearing about Gary Haynes.
Scott did not impressive me in his limited snaps. He may have talent, but having it between the ears is half the battle. I don't think "rely" is the correct expectation.

I agree... hence the term unproven. I didn't see much from him last year. Wouldn't be surprised to see some youngsters leap frog him early in the season. But then again who knows? He may have made some strides in the offseason. Time will tell.

What happened to the receiver Austin? Was a tall kid and I believe a 3 star coming out of HS

It's hard to look impressive when you have 3 yards on a defender and the QB under throws you or doesn't see you. He got behind the defense a lot last year but we had zero down field passing game.

He left the team after spring practice.

Bingo! The same could be said for Butler last season. I think many people will be surprised by our WR play this season with a QB who can deliver the ball accurately and on time.

I also expect to see on this board praise for the WR play and little credit to the QB play. But that's just my opinion based on the feel of some who post on here.

Devin Scott should have had 6-8 TDs last season on deep balls. Instead 3 or 4 INTs were thrown because they were under thrown.

Not to be argumentative, but I think it's pretty easy to see if a pass plays success is credited more for a sweetly thrown accurate pass or a spectacular grab by the receiver. I think most people on this board can recognize who is playing above average when it comes to skill players. QB's mostly get credit for pass plays anyway, unless it's an obvious poorly thrown pass.

Or the QB threw it where he was supposed to and the receiver ran the route wrong...if he runs the route too shallow it will appear the QB over threw him.

His initial release off the line (which is crucial if he was the first option, being the TB couldn't read a defense) was not very good, and we didn't exactly play elite secondaries all year. I know he can run, but I need to see crisp route running (something Hud commented on last year) and a better release to be impressed.

True, we don't usually get that kind of info, especially on completed passes.
