Following in the footsteps of Jay Wright, Shawn Long, Bryce Washington and Johnathan Stove, the latest Ragin' Cajuns to engage in international travel are big man Scott Plaisance and assistant coach Gus Hauser.
This is great for the team.
From Luke's article:
&"Assistant coach Gus Hauser and redshirt freshman forward Scott Plaisance were the latest Cajuns to depart for foreign soil Thursday, when they left the states for an eight-day trip to Europe to play with Global Sports Academy.
Great experiences for both player and coach. If you haven't met Gus you really need to, he is a great person and coach. As for Scott, he may be the missing link to this program and hopefully he will be here for the next four years.Hauser will serve as the head coach of an 11-man roster that includes players from UAB, Clemson, SMU and Southern University.
His team will be based out of Brussels, Belgium, and will also play games in Germany and Holland. Hauser said the team will play five games.
Im really looking forward to seeing Scotty on the court this year. I think he will be impressive. And the steps that Stove and Washington have taken over the summer. Could be a really good year.
