That's going to be a vast area, well pretty big. Are we making it a pedestrian meca or putting up some sort of buildings to replace it.

Its going to be a grassy area for students to hang out around the swamp

They are in the process of finishing up the master plan for that area, but yes, the area where the buildings were located will be re-dedicated to 'green spaces.' I've seen on the Union floor plan that the corner of Hebrard & Boucher might be the location of a building in the future, but I hope that day never comes.
For those that missed it, here is the thread that we had last week discussing this whole issue. Although it got a bit derailed, ;-), the first page had some really good info from the architect, etc.
