It's hard to believe that Dex is the one who left early and all the other former teammates already "caught" up to him. He could have been our catalyst two years ago against Ole Miss. I wonder if he has ever regretted his decision?

I wish him the best as he was fun to watch.

still remember when we lost against Sam Houston st in the BR regional.. Bottom 9th last out dex hits one that falls 2 inches shy of a home run to win it

Dex should have stayed and could have used the extra year in college. He would have been playing that February through June. As it was he didn't make his MiLB debut until May 24th of 2014. He would have only lost about two weeks of the season and would have played 60+ games with the Cajuns. Hopefully he latches on to another team. Good luck Dex!

The Royals paid for surgery Dex needed to recover from injury, I believe (in addition to his signing bonus). I think that might have been a clincher.

And rehab or I guess physical therapy sounds better

Surgery and rehab would have been paid by UL also since it was an injury sustained while playing. He probably would have had better rehab here since it would have been closer to one-on-one.

At the time, I thought someone said only surgery was covered
