Yes, except when I am tailgating and heading into a football game. I cannot drink bourbon all day then sit in a football game.

Come on Mel, you need to man up and just wobble into Cajun Field! LOL!

Making reservations (and bring a ton of $$$$). Going without a reservation almost guarantees you an 1 1/2 wait. Other than that, the Veal Parmesan was awesome. My wife had the Redfish and my daughter had Fish Katie. Both were superb.

The overall experience was extremely nice. Though I have never been to New York, I would imagine the service would be comparable to a fine dining New York restaurant with a south Louisiana flare.

If you're going to Ruffino's, first of all, make reservations.

The person who takes your reservations will ask if you are celebrating anything. If you are, your hostess will wish you or your guest a Happy Birthday or Anniversary or whatever as she seats you. Your server will as well.

    Just a nice touch, IMO

We went last week for our anniversary.

We got wished a happy anniversary from every employee that passed our table. Impressive. Also got a couple of complimentary glasses of champagne.

Never been there before. Nice place.

We'll be back for other special occasions.
