Thread: Anyone going to the Ragin Cajun/LaTech football game?

OK, conference affiliation aside, I'll pose a cold war question to you. As the congressman after being told of all our deficiencies asked the secretary of state would he trade our military abilities to the USSR. At that point he said of course not. Now I say to your, LTUR last five years, or our last five years. LTUR future five year potential or ours. Who do you think is delusional?

Blue Dog keeps demeaning Lafayette by calling it Lafy, and demeans our fans support by saying Ruston is small, they have at least six thousand less students and most of their alumni leave while most of ours stay( a vast overstatement ). Well that is the point Blue Dog, we are bigger and growing faster, our city is dynamic and one of the best business climates in the USA, and YES we love our university and city looking for anyway to return or stay as opposed to RUST-on in a portion of the state losing population decade after decade.

UL has a very bright future limited only by ourselves. LTUR not so much.

Exactly. We have all the potential to grow and be the things that ltur (and others) do not have, which explains their extreme obsession with us, and ESPECIALLY why they are so pre-occupied and down-right petrified about what name we go by. We also get the double whammy, because the purple pig can see it too, and will do everything they can to try to stop us.

Shame on us for letting our Admin be the most serious road-blocks that we have faced, but thankfully those days are gone. All one has to do is look at our growth in just the last 4 years to realize our potential. Not saying that ltur will not see any more growth, but, especially when compared to us, they are extremely limited and THEY KNOW IT. Anyone giving both programs an unbiased look (like the recent cbsports survey) can plainly see it as well.

Regardless of how you feel about SF, you have to agree how correct he is when he says "You ain't seen nothing yet."
