Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball player Shawn Long was one of 22 players invited on Monday to take part in the 2015 U.S. Pan American Men's Basketball Team training camp that will be used to select the 12 players who will represent the United States at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada.

This just backs up what many here have said- he has the skill set of a stretch 4 (not a pure 5). With the new big coming in to bang, he should be able to show off those skills next season.

As far as coaching, he has had to play the 5 out of necessity.
