So, if I understand correctly, we have a pledge (but not money in hand) for $5 million and have been unable to silently raise the needed matching $5 million but announced (or at least mentioned in interviews and conversations) start dates for the major renovations.

I'm not saying he is or isn't, it's HIS decision either way... This entire program is being built on the backs of donors. There are probably a lot of people giving donations and donating to rcaf that shouldn't be right now, but they do because they want to.

-------The last 2 capital improvements I was involved in had pledges but they were over say 3 years----Very hard to come up with all the money on the spot---again the modus operandi of what seems to be all the fund raising companies strategy!!!
