For Whom the Bell Tolls

Lyndra Bell had a career night in the win over North Texas.

The junior forward scored 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting, including a 4-for-4 performance from the charity stripe.

It was the second time this season Bell has set a new career high in a game.

It had been 21-straight conference games, dating back to the end of the 2007-08 season, since the Ragin' Cajuns had last won a Sun Belt game before the win over North Texas on Wednesday.

The previous league victory was a 66-44 win against Denver on Mar. 1, 2008. It was the final regular-season game that year.

Last season the Cajuns failed to capture a victory in the league (0-18).
