    Don't remember the game but Jay did have one somewhat similar this year and that was the first time I've heard him do that. As fans we do it all the time. Just fun to hear it over the air.

    In fairness, Jay admits if he misjudges a ball and I sure as hell can't see it.

    That was in Monroe. Really felt stupid. But we joked about it and brought it up several times after that. The one I got excited about was at least 30 feet shy of the wall.

    I think every announcer does this. It's funny when it happens. But even outfielders badly misjudge the ball sometimes.
