So let me get this straight? We don't want our all everything class to be drafted high, but the teams are missing out on their talents. So we be glad because they are under appreciated.

I'm new at this "caring about the draft" thing, but it seems that signability is a huge part of where guys land (or don't) early on.

Some of these dudes have made it clear: unless you're coming hard with life-changing money, I'm a Ragin' Cajun.

Nobody's drafting that kid with a $200k slot.

    Just my guess.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think at some level you do bet on your coaches being able to evaluate guys who are right on the cusp of go pro and lower slot money.

So you do root for kids with early round talent who may also be under appreciated by the scouts.

Ben Taylor is the one that was taken in the 7th. He's their main guy out of the pen. Has 7 saves on the year and a 1.48 ERA. Kevin Hill was their Friday night stud. He hasn't been drafted yet.

Well it's a little more than that...it's recruiting quality kids that wanna come to school also and keep there word. When a scout approaches a kid, one of the first thing they ask is about there signability. I think it speaks volumes of the job our staff is doing and getting on kids that wanna come here

I'am not trying to spin anything about our class. I back the classes great and bad.

I think i'am trying to figure out our schizoid fans, me included. Wanting them appreciated but not too much. 😅😅
