Spoke to one of the players yesterday after exit meetings and Riley Cooper is the only contributor that will not return.

I'm tickled pink to know that Thurman, Trosclair and Clement will all be back.

It was a brief conversation and I didn't ask why Cooper isn't coming back, but like wcd pointed out, my best guess would be to transfer for more innings elsewhere. Best of luck Riley!

I love that our coaches are honest with the kids and shoot straight with them about their futures.

Might be that the coaches saw what's coming in and told Cooper he might see the field even less next year.

Hate to lose a good kid. I don't mean "pitcher." I mean hate to lose a good kid.

But he's got a bright future wherever he lands.
