So who is starting for the 2016 UL Ragin cajun baseball team

The problem is they tell scouts that, and wind up undrafted and still go as a free agent. The first ones cut in an organization....undrafted free agents. The organization loose nothing. In the case of dex and strentz...to always have free agent associated with there names is a tuff label to get off of them.

Could be real solid if we get everyone on campus. Infield possibilities Sensely, Trosclair, Fontenot, Poncho, Robbins, Conrad, Thurman, Ray. Throw in our current pitching staff minus Milhorn plus Lee and Harris. Clement in center will Mills, Williams, Herrington as corner options plus anyone else we bring in. Future looks bright!

And don't go to sleep on Kennon Fontenot. The game sped up on him early. But the kid can flat out hit. He's going to contribute and it could be in a big way.

It was a brief conversation and I didn't ask why Cooper isn't coming back, but like wcd pointed out, my best guess would be to transfer for more innings elsewhere. Best of luck Riley!
