That was a tough one to see end on a walkoff, but congrats to LSU for battling.
I was definitely encouraged that we were able to pound a bit on the elite SEC pitching everyone has been warning us about. I am hoping Poche doesn't give us any fits tomorrow, because I feel pretty good going into this with Gunner on the mound tomorrow.
It was a blast to watch the game on the outfield of the Tigue to boot!
As much as it sucks to lose the first game. And to lose it the way we did, we're not in a terrible spot. We throw our ace tomorrow on the correct amount of rest. Bacon should be able to go again tomorrow. Moore is available along with Milhorn and the rest of our pen. Poche is good, but not nearly as good as Lange. And then if we are able to push it to game 2 we have Guillory. Not sweating over here.
