Very possible. I heard they had dome concerns with him being 100% healthy but don't know the latest on that

And fwiw I would save Leger for Saturday for both a rest standpoint AND because it could give us the best chance to win the "series" not just game 1

My honest opinion is that it will be extremely difficult to beat Lange. But I think we have a legit chance to beat Poche. And if you get to Monday, anything can happen
Any thought of holding Leger out for Sunday and rolling the dice with Marks, to keep Leger from matching up with Lange?

Edit: Hell, should've kept reading. LOL

Strange that Robe hasn't announced his starter yet.

Also strange that he would announce it at all. "Come to the ballpark, and you'll see who's warming up." And then warm up like 10 dudes. Start Toups or somebody and have him throw like 2 pitches and change pitchers. Because why not?

Not sure why I'd give the highest seed remaining a day's notice about who to prepare for. If our kids know, that's the only ones who need to know.

    But ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm assuming you mean save Leger for Sunday? If so, I agree with this. If we throw Marks Saturday and manage a win, then throwing Leger on Sunday could be huge. BUT, how about throwing Guillory in game 2 (only if we're up 1-0), then have Leger throw Monday against their "next in line" guy should we lose Sunday. Lots of variables which I guess is why Robe hasn't made an announcement yet. I certainly trust in however Robe chooses to play it.

    Yea I'm sorry, I'm thinking of a F/Sa/Su series

    2 thoughts:

    1. Robe said Marks was a better matchup against Rice, because they didn't hit softer throwers as well. Same with LSU?

    2. Robe might be trying to convince Milhorn (who he thinks has, in his words, "Destiny") to start Saturday (Milhorn like coming out of the pen).

After Andy Gros came out for game 2 in 2000, I stopped having any illusions that Coach Robe was going to coach by the book.

For all I know, he could start Thunda.

There it is. Marks game 1. Leger game 2.

Work the count and play small ball.
