Wouldn't that be a point for night, because rain would be over if it rained after noon?
I thought this would go other way about lswho petitoning ncaa and getting its way.....
Seems like a theme in more than just baseball.....

If it's supposed to rain all day, the earlier you schedule it, the better chance you have of getting it in.
Rice and HBU didn't start their game in our regional until 2:30. 3 innings later, it poured. Those pitchers are done for the weekend.
had they started at 12, they would've gotten through that game.
Gotcha. But missed point about ESPN making the schedule not the ncaa? Ncaa could at least pretend they haven't given everything over to sEcSPN-bristol
I guess they could. LOL
"Yeah, the NCAA deemed it was necessary to schedule game 3 in Baton Rouge at either 12 or 3 or 6 or 7. We'll let you know."
PS if you think they're putting the highest remaining national seed and largest fanbase by far in America into a deciding game at noon on Monday, you're nuts.
That game's most likely at 7 on ESPN, if we go 3. Why pretend?
You are right, but I was looking more big picture with my comment. Not just baseball....should ESPN have so much influence over ncaa. There are other networks last I checked and we see the sec bias in bristol is it also moving that bias to Indy?
