Was a great game until Jefferson Street Joe Gilliam hit a wide receiver to beat us in the final minutes. The USL defensive back stopped and let the Tenn. State WR go right past him for the TD. No one had ever seen a QB throw that far rolling to his left back then. Man, did he have some arm! Gilliam and Bradshaw would battle it out in Pittsburgh for the Steelers QB for years.
