And in his article that came out today, he called us an "up-start" trying to take down the big dog this weekend. Up start? Sorry Guilbeau, an up-start would be Houston Baptist, who has only been playing D1 baseball for a couple of seasons. The Cajuns have a long history. 15 NCAA Tourny appearances. I don't consider that an up-start. And I think it's a slap in the face.

Maybe somebody called him a dckhead? And I'm not directing that at anyone but he very well could have had vile exchange with one out fans before he ever knew anything about the name thing. A lot of our fans assume everyone knows and everyone does it in spite.

He knows we're passionate fans. Calling him out over the name... and even adding some saucy words to let him know how we feel, doesn't hurt a thing. I'm not going to be fired up like I get fired up over Cajun sports, but then cut someone some slack for disrespecting me. It isn't happening. And the people in sports media that don't appreciate passion for athletics spilling over into everything... are _______... and shouldn't be affiliated with sports.
