-----Throw the MA guy in with this---Has had some very cool Cajun stories and I know that we will not be called the athletics name we wish by him----So I will not buy his Baton Rouge LSU paper----If they get a foothold in Lafayette, the LSU coverage will rise and the UL(L)s will get less!!! I know who the Advertiser staff is pulling for this weekend and not sure about the Baton Rouge paper!!! BTW a great picture of the Section A group on the front page!!!

This! No national writer has written more positive stories about the Ragin' Cajuns Baseball program. He respects Coach Robichaux and coach respects him. Perhaps some Cajun fans miss Baseball America's John Manuel?

I spoke with him this year at the tigue, very nice guy, seemed kind of reserved. Very complimentary of Robe, the team and huge fan of Blake Trahan. To hammer this guy over our name brings dumb to a new level. He brings more good pub to our program than anyone.

Why do you always support them?? Charlie has been gone a long time and the tie between the paper and school evaporated many years ago. They are nothing more than a small part of a massive conglomerate these days that is struggling to survive. They haven't been a "local" paper for many years now.

---I do not always support them and told the Lady in Chief how I was extremely upset in their endorsing Mary Landrieu---I love what the Buckley guy has done for game day editions and of course their using the UL and LOUISIANA references and don't see that as an evaporation of a tie being broken!!! I love the local coverage that they give in having a local/Louisiana section and although too liberal for my liking I do like the USA Today section!!!
