How many guys were with him at the workout????? that is pretty important I would think----Like the voluntary shoot around before a previous game with about 2 guys there!!!!
If it wasn't for bad luck, there would be no luck at all...Ryan McCoy is ineligible,
Lamar Roberson not expected to play, this week Brandon Dison (ankle) is being evaluated on a day-to-day basis, Courtney Wallace out indefinitely...
Coach Lee has to have an ulcer by now...Rough, rough year.
How will McCoy's eligibility effect the APR?????
Don't forget that Corey Bloom (foot) and La'Ryan Gary (knee) are out for the year.
Regardless of what one thinks about Coach Lee, you have to admit he has been snake bitten with injuries the last two seasons. I did not think it could be worse than last year when Daigle and Gradnigo missed the first part of the year. Now we lose our best "dirty work" guy in Gary for the entire season, our best defender for most of the year in Dison, our best inside scorer in Wallace for most of the year, and have one of the most versatile players in Bureau playing through pain and not practicing. When you think about it, very few teams could survive losses like that.
IMO, i think this arguement makes coach Bustle look good. ALOT of guys either played hurt or were out completely: Sails, Green, Rolle, Richard, Miller, Fisher, McCoy, Falgout, Williams, Moore, Lee, Bustle, Bentley, Douglas, Brooks. Thats 12 out of 22 starters (Moore, Douglas, and Brooks didn't start) playing hurt and getting bowl eligible. Thats alot of key guys.....
That's a really good point. There is no doubt that injuries have taken their toll on cajun athletics the last couple of years.
Did Dison get reinjured in the game against NT? He played really well the brief moment he was in that game and now he is day to day? Can we add HGH to the supplement fund and get Dison a couple of truckloads? I've never seen someone struggle with ankles as much as this guy for most of his collegiate career. Let's juice him up and see what he can do healthy.
I don't think Dison got worse against UNT. A couple of weeks ago, Coach Lee did not think he would play this year. Apparently, Dison went to him and said if he could play five minutes a game to help the team, he would be wiling to give it a go. That's about what he played last Thursday. I bet he will be day to day through the entire season and it will always be a game time decision if he can go or not.
