Pass on my sincerest thanks to the ncaa for once again rewarding the great ethics, academic standards and efficient use of taxpayer dollars by our beloved flagship with their honor of hosting. Hey kids, dont worry about school or having integrity, just practice more and you'll be a-ok!
Is SEC spending too much time and effort on softball and dropping the ball on baseball? Just four hosts? Only Two in top eight? this on the heels of no one in football title game......
Yes all Louisiana colleges get the TOPS advantage. As for the Lamers? Looking at where some of their players come from on the economic ladder there has to be some unadvertised NCAA approved grants.
For thoughts?
Guillory in last ten games if I collected the numbers right.
IP: 5.1
Runs: 2.5
ERA: 4.287
Four of the last ten had ERA of plus five.
In his last five he had a 9.0,6.23, and three 2.57 or lower. His best outings in the last five ere sgainst solid hitting USA & UTA. 2.57 & 1.5
Perhaps a statistician can tell us is he tending lower. Seems to be but two major blips of 12.0 and 9.0.
Throw out the two highs and lows I come up with a 3.64 ERA.
He played in 15 games so his first five were his initial few weeks as a college pitcher.
Also check out Oregon softball. I know this is a baseball thread but it seems odd that they only have one player from state of Oregon and can still stay within the 12.5 or 13.5
I'm pretty sure all University's offer academic scholarships. Maybe they ought to recruit smarter student athletes!
