Kendall Rogers was shocked CofC didn't make it. Honestly, didn't follow the top of the NCAA closely enough to have an informed opinion.

Looking at it again, you're right: they only got 3. Not even Corvalis.

Not being a prisoner of the moment, but that final game was one of the best college baseball games I've ever seen. Also, this entire tournament was fun, intense and mostly well played. An all timer for sure.

I didn't get to watch it due to being on the road but that was easily the best game I've ever listened to on the radio. A nail biter throughout

My comment was more on the fact that there were only three from the West Coast. There were certainly teams from the East that were in the mix. However I don't think they did enough to differentiate themselves and the NCAA was needing some host sights out West. A quick look and it looks as though they stuck very close to the RPI ranking for host sights until they got down to the 15 & 16 rankings. C of C might have been negatively effected by their SOS of 94.

We watched a freshman all American out there today. He won the battle. But what our two starters did yesterday, to give gunner the opportunity today is what really won the game. He's the only guy who wins for us today.

I'd prefer we not go to BR. We need to build on our connections with our Houston area fans and recruits. I would think from a travel consideration, without too many other equally seeded (3) contestants, we'd end up in one or the other of those two.

C of C might have been negatively effected by their SOS of 94.

Which I'd say is an excuse to keep a mid-major out, except mid-majors (and I'd even throw Illinois in that mix, if you change the term "mid-major" to "not major" are hosting all over the place.

I thought RPI was SOS. But we've all hashed that out before.
