That jives with my memory of it. The best part was that as Trosclair was the talking up, Jeff was saying that trosclair had 50 RBI on the season but he'd love to see 51 right here. Jay said he'd take 52. Jeff said how about 53, we can keep upping the ante if you want Jay. Jay said we can only go so far with this. Couple of pitches later - 4 rbi

I was listening to Jay on headphones because the rest of my crew wanted to watch ESPN3 without knowing what was going to happen. When Trosclair hit the home run I had to curb my enthusiasm but they could tell that something good had happened. When it finally happened on TV we all went nuts! It was like I had celebrated twice! I think I remember Jay calling it a granny and Jeff saying "oh my word" but not sure about that.

I think that this is Coach Robe's and his staff's best coaching performance. They lost a entire starting staff and relievers, the most important every day players except for Trahan then go back to regionals. Awesome job by everyone. Go Cajuns.

We live in a marvelous era. Was drafted to be papa for a week in Alec, and you know little girls want to do little girl things, so.

Was going to take take her to the 11:00 AM movie, but we got started too late, so set up for the 3:30 movie. Sure enough had to leave at the top of the seventh. Took the smart phone in and secretly and silently watched the Cajuns shut the door. So never heard the homer. Little bit kept telling me it is impolite to watch a phone in a movie, but we were not distracting anyone.

Not exactly what you called for but the walk off was backfire related

The wall he hit it over is 27 feet high, 30 feet high over the scoreboard.

Not as tall as Fenway but quite an accomplishment!
