Certainly leaving JW in when she CLEARLY had lost any semblance of control

No one warmed up in case of just such a catastrophe

Not walking the bases loaded.. Now the hit to 2nd is a force

Love ya Mike... Get well soon and come back for many years....

Lotief pinch hit with a 1-1 count, and got a 2 run double.

Lotief put in his 3rd best pitcher to pitch to Auburn's leading home run hitter, and she struck her out.

"This is my first softball game... but damn that coaching sucks."

Yeah... Mike's pretty decent at this.

How you guys can pin this on Mike, when an ump called ball four on a 2-0 count on a throw to 3B during a TV commercial might be the Ragin' Paginest thing ever.

Get off Mike's jock already. Not a single person here would rather another coach. But he made a bad decision at crunch time and in reality, it's ok. The loss stings, but no matter the series outcome, it's going to be ok.

And while we're at it, enough with all the "only at Ragin Pagin..." comments you're high on right now. You need to review your own past posts before preaching to the board...

That's not the point. The point is that Coach Mike is coaching to win a series, with a 10-5 lead. He did a ton of things that worked, or we wouldn't have even been having this conversation.

In 2000, Coach Robe left his ace on the bench in game 2 of a super regional, to throw a 60 mph fastball freshman.

Because he wasn't trying to win a game. He was trying o win a series.

We won, so it was a great move. Had we lost, he'd be the worst coach ever.

Both coaches are thinking the same: how do I win this series?

PS Louisiana is miles better than Auburn. The Cajuns will rout Auburn twice tomorrow, and Lotief will be a genius again.

I can't believe an ump made the most ridiculous call I've ever seen in a lifetime of sports, obviously pandering to the SEC, and Ragin' Pagin is melting down over the best coach in the history of college softball.

I just find it ironic.

Who said he is the worst coach ever? How many coaches will watch a pitcher walk that many people in? When she already had walked a ton? Pitch count nearing 200? They were lucky jordan got out of the jams she did... You get cute you get burned, auburn isn't app state. There is a reason they only lost 9 games and won the sec tourney...they could have put their bat on the ground at the end and won the game. It was a bad decision, doesn't make him a bad coach.

I think this game magnifies how much we miss Stefni working day in and day out with our pitchers.

It was a crazy game. When ESPN went back to the desk they talked about how they had never seen a game like this one and I have to agree. That was nuts from a lot of different perspectives.
