I can't figure out for the life of me why Christina Hamilton was not brought in before. Let her shut the door. Wallace had zero control all day long.

Christina OR Steawart would have 100% gotten 3 outs before she allowed 5 runs if she was brought in before the bases were loaded after 3 runs had already scored.

Instead you wait until Wallace walks 3 runs in and 7 runners tital in the bottom of the 7th inning before you make a move? What were you waiting on or expecting to happen?

My thoughts exactly. It just doesn't make any sense. That's the longest "leash" I think I've EVER seen given to a pitcher in softball OR baseball. Just ridiculous. This loss is solely on Mike. Sorry

Good post. I feel for the girls. They did EVERYTHING they had to do to get a win. From pitching to hitting to fielding.

It sucks that one of the players didn't have the authority to make the pitching move that everyone envolved in the game knew needed to be made.

Still doesn't make sense why Mike would put such an important game in jeopardy to protect Wallace's "feelings".

It's just not like him and seems like there is more to it. I sure hope there is more to it....

I agree with a previous poster. By trying to protect Wallace's feelings I think he may have hurt her more. It's going to be tough for her to come back from such a rough outing and pitch well. If he would have taken her out with a 5 run lead it would have been much different.
