This is so bad. I have a neighbor who flys his UL flag 24/7. Drove by it a few minutes ago, dude lowered it to half mast.
This is my beef. The rule is the rule. I get that. But you call ball three, and the entire park goes, "Wait, what?" and Mike comes out, talks to the ump, and goes. whoa. Don't pitch any more warmups. And Christina pitches to the batter.
That never happened. Ball two. Warmups. Ball four. WHAT HAPPENED?
That's not right.
In any case, Auburn doesn't have anyone that can stop this team from scoring 11 twice tomorrow. They're the 101st best ERA in America - before the 11 runs today.
The Cajuns will win two tomorrow. No doubt whatsoever.
My guess is Alex Stewart pitches game 1. Their best hitter certainly struggled with her changeup.
It doesn't matter who pitches. We're going to mash.
I'd take a picture of it but given how some reacted after the baseball meltdown, don't want to put someone in the crosshairs. Yeah, my wife and I laughed when we saw the flag and realized it was down. It is what it is.
The count was already 2-0. No idea whether he called the additional two warm-up pitches balls or just waited for the second pitch to send Carasone to first base. ESPN was not very on the ball describing what happened in and around the extra warm-up pitches and neither was the camera work.

I don't think the two can be compared. Hud played not to lose and it burned him. It would have been comparable to today's softball game if Broadway started throwing interception after interception with a huge lead in the fourth and Hud let him keep throw picks. Mike wanted to let Jordan finish what she started. She had been good with 2 outs for the first 6 innings. He waited about 3 batters too late in my opinion.
Well hell brain. Did they call a timeout. Im still wondering if a pitcher throws underhand into the outfield bleachers if it a pitch.
I see the delay issue what i want to know is who is counting the pitches and how do we know
