I've been watching Cajuns baseball a long time.. That one was an all timer. I don't think we're done here, but that's a loss I'll remember for a long long time.

Hope the boys can pick themselves up off the deck and bring it home. The positive guy in me says we got all of our bad breaks out in that one inning. Let's not bail on them yet..

Absolutely. I have to say though, and not picking on these guys individually, but it irks me to no end when I see an infielder take the lazy approach to the ball instead of getting his butt down and in front of the ball to make the play; likewise, I get perturbed when outfielders catch balls with one hand, especially on the "easy ones". I don't care if it's a "can of corn", hustle your arse over and secure the ball with two freakin hands. You don't get an extra out or run if it looks pretty.

Haack attack yes, but is it too early to start declaring that Broadway needs to be benched? That's the kind of irrational mood some of us are in.

Today's game was as frustrating a Cajun event as I have ever followed. I know the guys hurt more than we ever will due to the sweat equity they but into the program. That is especially true for Powell and Trosclair due to ninth inning troubles. However to give the game away on 2 plays many 12 year olds make makes it extremely disappointing. If some want to use the term "inexcusable" I understand as if it was ever warranted, it is in this situation. What appears to be a lack of focus in such a critical time is especially troubling as the season may be over for all practical purposes now.
