Don't remember which one but at some point this weekend one of them said " I gave myself a high five when I found out I was going to the Lafayette regional".

Weber's coach also talked about playing in an "historic stadium".

    I'd call that.....progress.

    I'll take my lick.

That's why Coach Mike is the coach and I'm just a Cajun a fan who won't have a voice at work tomorrow morning!

    ICYMI:
    #13 Louisiana at #4 Auburn
Game 1: Friday, 1 pm, ESPNU
    Game 2: Saturday, 11am, ESPN
Game 3: Saturday, 3 pm, ESPN (if necessary)

Compare that to LSU, who starts game 1 at 9pm in Baton Rouge.

Thankful for afternoon games this time.

When we were a #13 vs. Arizona State it felt like an impossible task.

    This really doesn't.

    S. Alabama gave them all they wanted, and we swing it better.

    I'm not scared of this.

Looks like the committee did a pretty good job this year. Fourteen of the sixteen top seeds advance to Super's. The fifteen and sixteen seeds were the only two not to advance.

Auburn will be tough. We are second in the nation in scoring behind Oklahoma and Auburn is 4th behind Michigan. Their OOC schedule wasn't that impressive but they put up some decent numbers in conference as well. LSU seems to be one of the few teams that could hold the run count down on them.

Against common opponent Alabama they lost 6-0, 13-3, and won 13-12. Obviously know how they did against South Al.

Our hitters need to be hitting on all cylinders because it is highly unlikely we are shutting them down.

Is their pitching suspect? If so, I'd be nervous if I was Auburn.

Stearns is very good. Any idea what Auburn's pitching's like?
