That 1st base ump was real bad. Wouldn't have changed the outcome. However, maybe affected the momentum. 😳😳

Maybe I missed it but is there a reason Robe didn't do a post game interview with Jay? It couldn't possibly be because of the turd his team had just left on the field...
Hopefully we have enough gas in the tank to play well this weekend or else "Big Lots" U will look like world beaters.

Nicholls had no room in the press box and they seated us outside. Not unusual in the Southland. We were outside at SLU, NWST and McNeese. But those places, we were covered. Not so last night. We had to scramble to keep equipment from being ruined. When the deluge was over we decided to do a bare bones broadcast. That included not setting up a wireless for postgame. The decision to not do the interview was determined before the game started. I wasn't going to take a chance of a pop up shower so I set up as little as possible.
In 21 years, Tony has never refused to do a post game interview. There have been a few times he has sent Bab because of the time he was spending with the team.
