Lady Cajuns move to 6-10 by defeating Savannah State. How long has it been since the UL Lady Cajuns have been on a two game winning streak?

Who is Savannah State? I'll pay attention when they beat a real team.

I don't really buy into the idea that it's a good win because they beat someone who beat us. I see this one as a good win because they beat a team they are supposed to beat. UL teams (men's and women's) should always beat teams like Savannah State by at least 20.

They lost five of their players on Wednesday, so they may have been a little short-handed.
According to SSU officials, the five women basketball players "were either not eligible prior to the season" or they "lost their eligibility due to non-compliance to NCAA eligibility requirements".
.
Savannah State is one of the worst D1 athletic programs in the country. Horrible decision to move up to D1 a few years ago with no financial support and no fan base.

This ends the non-conference slate for the ladies. They now have twice as many wins as they had last season and are only 4 games into conference play. We now have an interesting question to consider: how many wins are enough before we think Errol has done enough to keep his job? No matter how untalented some of us may think this team is (I am in that number), you do have to credit them with full effort throughout the entire game. There are some really bad teams in the league this year, so more wins are a possibility.
I know there are many of us who would like to see Kelley back, but there is one more year on Errol's contract. The administration, even this recent staff, have shown patience with their head coaches. I'm going to be very interested to see what it will take for Errol to keep his job or if a change will be made at the end of the season.
The one thing --or maybe 2 that ERROL has going for him is the budget crunch of which we now have to cut 300K plus and the fact that there is or could be a hiring freeze---Don't think that they will sneak out a conference win!!!! Has any coach in the history of womens bball not won a conference game after 3 years????? OOOOPPPPPSSSS-Forgot the one win last week sorry!!!!!
