Is this Nicholls game a makeup of something? I don't have it on my schedule.
It's a make-up. Got rained out a couple weeks ago due to field conditions. Now, honestly, I'm not sure why they are playing this game, 2 nights before the trip to ULM... Series which starts Thursday. I guess to keep their end of the home & home arrangement... but as far as RPI purposes, neither of these teams are getting an at-large.
More reps. More growth. More opportunities to face adversity.
Why wouldn't you play this game if you could?
Well, first of all, Tony believes in playing the games. Second, at the time we were scheduled to play, this was going to be a good RPI game for us (we were talking at large at the time.) It is going to be an even better RPI game now because Nicholls has won eight in a row and has moved into third place in the Southland.
But go back to #1. We were scheduled to play them.
This was the game on April 28? I was on vacation that week. I thought I read those were played when I came back.
The bats can use all the games they can get before the tourney, especially the couple guys who will get a chance to lock down a spot.
Herrington, B Mills and Bren I'm guessing will see time. The only way to get out of a funk is to play.. So let's play
Are we playing tonite?
Brenn starting at 3b fontenot starting in LF... Weather delay right now
Game underway... Trosclair double off the wall, shugg gets single, trosclair heads up base running scores on pass ball
