TOUGH draw with MS State and Baylor. Weber State looks like they have a good record, so probably not a gimme on Friday night. Then I guess rooting for South Alabama to win the Auburn regional to make it an SBC Super at Lamson. WOW!
Run rules Baylor, pitch and field to ability, while not taking siesta 's at the plate, and UL will win the Regional! My question is if Auburn loses does the winner of that regional host or travel?
It's really a shame how they bow to the SEC. Guess some things never change.
Did anyone ever see Becky Clark smile - even after they got lucky and pulled out that game vs. the Cajuns the other day?
I kind of had the opposite reaction. I think we have a decent draw other than being 13 seed matched up with Auburn. We've beaten Baylor and Miss State is just an average SEC team. Weber State takes the place of the usual SWAC team so that may make it a bit more difficult. To be honest, I was more worried last year considering we had Texas and they had beaten us earlier in the year.
Anybody got a link to the complete bracket? Can't find ____ on ESPN.com, NCAA.com.
Surprised Georgia State didn't get in... No other SBC team beside the Cajuns and Jags.
What is the Cajuns' final RPI ranking?
Did they follow rpi closely to determine seeding? I didn't think we would fall to 13. And again, Kentucky making it with an at large bid is a joke. I don't know how the selection committee could do that without at least one person standing up and saying "let's look at their record before we commit to this."
