Well fellas, i'm not ashamed at saying we had a good year. We will not win tourney but next year looks good if we can find the hitting. #3rd place for young team isn't bad
----Just caught a lil on the radio but heard Jay mention about the times we hit rockets that unfortunately were right at them!!! Baseball luck averages great extra base hits with long outs or stinging line drives that just put another out on the scoreboard!!! Oh and those foul balls that missed by inches!!!
Kinda amazes me when we can't sniff it at the plate we don't use the short game at all. We haven't put pressure on the defense in order for them to make a play
disappointing end to the year for sure!!! We all know the tourney championship is wishing upon a star. But all in all not a bad year
BT's shot to left gets out of the yard any other night. You could see it dying in the wind as it went higher and higher. Shug and Kyle hit back to back balls that were feet from changing the outcome. Tony has had many a team like this one, offensively. I thought last year's team was a different animal in that they ATTACKED excellent pitching, rather than reacted too it. Call it Deggs, call it talent, call it more tools to work with.. Idk. It was also mentioned about this year's bunch not trying to manufactor runs. Team speed is something we lack and against a good fielding and pitching club, I understand the fear in wasting outs.
I don't think our situation is so dire. Gunner, again, was ridiculous. He is the poster child for a "battling" pitcher. We have better arms going forward, and this series is still ours for the taking. Speaking of pitchers, what has gotten into Colton Lee? Poor guy has hit a wall..
