well even though Broadway was an outstanding person, his QB skills lacked. He handcuffed our offence because everyone knew he couldn't throw past 10-15 yards. Haack can. That is all as his game will open up our offence
Dude learn how to spell offense ruhtard
D should be improved everywhere except on the line where I think we will miss Ringo and Hamilton. Briscoe and Lee should be capable replacements though.
This is America
Ringo and Hamilton are not easily replaceable. How many UL DL have been drafted in the past 20 years? None. Even getting a look by the NFL is rare for our DL. Those two guys commanded attention. Briscoe? Sure, for a play or two. After that he will need to take several plays off to catch his breath.
Like what I saw from some of the guys mentioned above, but none looked ready to fill the shoes of R&H.
Haha. So we have had one in the past 20+ years. Hall Davis. Proof positive measurables can get you a look in the NFL. I agree Lee is probably our best chance at a
replacement. The rest of the guys need to either get in shape or improve their point of attack skills dramatically.
Or get reps... Hard to do with those guys in front of you having been with Hud since year 1. I think we will be better on the line, we may not get to the QB as much from the middle but as long as you stuff the run and get there on the edges it doesn't matter. Darzil Washington, tovell, Mario Osborne coming in... We have talent and depth on the line. I'm not saying Ringo and Hamilton won't be missed but we have some guys who I think will surprise some people...they just haven't played much yet. Depth is the key on the line, if we can roll fresh legs out there all game we will be fine.
----With the hurry up offenses these days, I sometimes have to rethink the substitution situation----As the exiting and entering the field to the los gets to be more of a hypotenuse of a triangle, I wonder how much that actually takes out of a huge lineman----Just think of running 20-30 yards to just get to the LOS---Very tiring and I remember the Arkansas game where the guys were worn out coming and going---Just a thought, but I remember its tiring effect!!!
