Houston Dynamo and/or Soccer fans

Was wondering if there were any soccer fans on board RP.
Family and I went to our first Dynamo a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely loved it.

Absolutely, just started getting into soccer recently. Definitely trying to go to a dynamo game in the summer.

We loved it. Stadium is nice, small, so running to get concessions is easy. Crowd shows up late tho. I bought MLS Live for first time, been enjoying it.

Yes! Many years ago I was working in Houston and I decided to check out a game in the old Robertson Stadium. The ticket I bought was right in the middle of the supporters section. So I sit down, and 10 minutes later all the supporters march into the stadium and surround me. I spent the next two hours join my feet, drinking beer, throwing streamers, and singing and cursing in Spanish. Needless to say that was an incredible experience.

Right when the new stadium opened I took the family to Houston to see a Dynamo/Timbers game and an Astros/Brewers game on back to back nights. It was a great trip. The new stadium really is awesome. We were in the cheap seats but we felt like we were right on top of the field. I wish UL would take some cues from that stadium and other MLS stadiums when they add on to Cajun Field.

I've also been to two US Soccer games in Reliant Stadium. One was US vs. Mexico, and the other was a CONCACAF gold cup semi-final. Both were also really cool experiences.

I just saw that Manchester City will be playing the Dynamo in a friendly on May 28th at BBVA. If I can somehow manage to get tickets I think I might try to make the trip.

Manchester City vs the Dynamo will be awesome. I was there last year for the Aston Villa game which was awesome, but no where near as sweet as watching Man City will be.

Yes, I'm glad that its slowly but surely started to get some national recognition. My son plays for one of the local Dynamo travel teams and we make a game or two every year in Houston and its a great time. I tell this to a lot of people that they should try to attend if their schedule fits and are around when there is a home game.

We are planning a trip to a Dynamo game July 3rd. My 8 year old son just started playing soccer in the fall and he is in love with the sport. He is super excited about going to his 1st game.
