Thread: Houston or San Antonio?

  1. #1

    Default Houston or San Antonio?

Granted there are too many irrelevant bowl games these days. I mean c'mon Montgomery, AL? Just thinking there's room in the marketplace for a second bowl game the Cajuns could 'own' in either Houston or San Antonio. From a tourist standpoint, I vote San Antonio. Great late December hunting in the Hill Country too. State your preference or somewhere else?

I live in Houston so I know what my answer would be. SA has more family stuff available. Houston has better bars and restaurants.

---Yes but Houston has the RAGIN' CAJUN restaurants

Would like for Luke to have some great parties there for the RPagers!!! BTW, he is a regular looker on here--probably doesn't know how to post---been there!!!! lol But the amount of Cajun fans in Houston and the closer drive from Lafayette gets my vote for Houston!!!

Ragin Cajun is good, but there also other good Cajun restaurants as well in Houston. Outside of Cajun food places, Houston has great places to eat.

Houston. This is s BigBig recruiting area for us.

Let's get Shreveport a domed stadium and we could alternate between the three.

Here are the places that I have been that I have liked:

Steak: Fogo De Chao, Saltgrass, Texas Land & Cattle
Tex Mex: Mamacita's, chuy's (for the jalapeño ranch dip), Lupe Tortilla, Irma's by Minute Maid Park.
    Burgers: Langford's, Bernie's Burger Bus, Beck's Prime.

If near 610 N. near Yale, you must go to Just Mac. It's a gourmet Mac and Cheese place.

    Steaks Perry's, Willie G's, Vic & Anthony's, Eddie V's or Capital Grille.

Seafood Goode Company Seafood, or Trulucks.

All are very good but not necessarily cheap. This list could get long.
