From the comments on their message board the San Marcos fans did not appreaceate the large, vocal crowd of UL fans in attendance. Apparently the UL fans were "mouthy" in game one. The San Marcos boys were glad to win game 2 to shut our fans up. Of course reading their board it appears the San Marcos fans are the mutes today after the Cajuns take the series with a run rule beat down.

With Troy's loss to UTA today, we move into sole possession of 4th place. 3 1/2 games back of Georgia State with 12 games left. Georgia State still has games against 3rd place USA (road), 6th place Texas State (home), 5th place Troy (road), and 2nd place Georgia Southern (home). Not an easy schedule for GaSt the rest of the way.
