How about from now on all polls have to show the names of the voters and how they voted?

That would be great. Why other programs are conducting national, or at least regional, searches to find the best qualified coach to raise the level of talent and play of their respective programs, 33 of you think an AAU coach is just fine for us. And we wonder why some see us as small time.

I'd like to know who these 33 are.

Brad Boyd?!? No offense Brad, but you've done nothing to even be considered a head coach at this level. The guy played ball here, thats it. How about we hire Mike Southall to assists Brad? He played here too ya know.. Tim Floyd is a cheater. Are you guys so frustated that you want to revert to cheating?! C'mon man...

I agree on this guy, Billy Gilespie is still probably kicking himself for leaving Texas A&M and after being fired from Kentucky, he would be looking for the "Next Job" if you know what I mean if he coached here.

what's wrong with him looking for the next job? That would mean that he had success here. Ideally we should be hiring every 3 to 5 years because guys are leaving. Much like Tulsa. Have u ever seen the guys to come out of there?

Also. This pill indicates that more fans would rather see Brad Boyd coach than a guy who had been to the NCAA tourney, and is off to a 13-3 start and 5-0 conference record in Billy Kennedy.

Don't take this poll seriously. Its very easy to stuff the ballot box on these polls. If Turbine would make it so the poll would show who voted I wouldn't be surprised to find that the usual trolls are voting for Boyd just to get a rise out of UL fans.

Here's the deal with "Billy the Kid". Looking back, he wished he would have stayed at Texas A & M. Reasons being the AD LIED to him to get him to take the UK job. Let's look at this, why was TUBBY let go humm, the AD thought the team was bad and needed a change and BOUGHT TUBBY OUT for a BIG SUM of MONEY. Here comes "The Kid", takes over a train wreack, and wins 40 GAMES in 2 years. STILL NOT ENOUGH WINS, but AD wants to make another change but doesn't want to pay what they LEGALLY OWE BY LAW to get rid of him. Why, because the AD and President just flat don't like him or his style, which was by the way the same way he coached at UTEP and Texas A & M. Is that "The Kids Fault" NO. Fire him, Pay Him and Move on. That's what they finally did to (2.9 mil, plus attorney fees). That is the world we live in.

Knock on "The Kid" is that he sued UK. Yeah, To get his money which was LEGALLY OWED to him. He can still coach and he will get hired. Does he have issues ? Yes always did, but is a good Coach.

UK wanted "The Kid" to be out speaking everynight. ''The Kid" would be willing to speak everynight at the Outback til it closed to any UK fan who wanted to stay with him and listen. I saw it first hand at Texas A & M. He never wanted all that other stuff. Who was at fault there ? Coach and Recruit. That is why he went to UK (NOT TO BE THE FUND RAISER). I get the whole Coach has to speak deal too, just not every night when you were not told upfront. Let the Coaches Coach.

Billy will Coach again and WIN. That's what he does. His way. If you don't like his style DON'T HIRE HIM.

    Coach,

Give "The Kid" a call and get him lined up to start here at the end of this season; then call T-Joe and tell him to pay the man. Also tell T-Joe that you'll also be coming in on the women's side. When you get here, I'll take you out for a steak at Ruth Chris and we'll have a cold one together. Oh, Brad can come too.

I think he would be willing. He may have a shot at something "bigger". You would have to think that any big 12 job that opened he would be considered. Also, u have Auburn which may open. Auburn is basically the equivalent of TAMU in the SEC. Football school with not much basketball success. Could be the exact thing for him. Unless his "problems" ruined his chances in that league. Also ArKansas may open. He was a name there before UK.

Finally, the rumor mill I heard was Mike Davis to Arkansas and a rumor of Billy Kennedy to UAB.
