I think they only have a 4 day window to tear down and a 4 day window to put it all back together where as they had about a 20 day window with the original installation!

yes danny did talk about upgrading and changiing the design of the freezer unit and they start practicing again tomororw at the hockeyplex at 9 am to 11

Danny addressed this in a November 21 post...In that post he said that the system was a prototype and that a few mistakes were made by the installers which somehow caused the ice to be thicker than is normal and putting more stress on the chilling unit...apparently this results in a higher ice temp and all the problems with wet ice...the post went on the say that these errors will be corrected when the ice is reinstalled and this should result in a more appropriate (and hopefully faster) ice surface. Hope no one minds my paraphrasing but it would not be appropriate to cut and paste the quote from one board to the other.
