Wow this seems like hard work.
Good thing there are no home games for a bit.
Thanks Frenchie you are the best.
I am not sure but I think they have drains on the floor. If not, what's the next step. They have to be careful when they take up the ice and not damage the tubing. This system is not exactly the best but that's all they can have in Blackham.
I am sure Danny Smith.....$$$$$$$$
Wow...that really sucks to have to completely dismantle the rink, then have to re-assemble it all together again for Feb. 5th. I hope things go smoothly putting it all back in.
Didn't I hear about an up-grade of the freezing unit during this down time?
I remember reading one of Danny's posts awhile back about the problems with the ice. I think something about the ice being too thick and them not laying something right in the beginning. I think he did say that it was going to be fixed during this downtime. But I'm not positive.
The problem was that some of the tubing overlaped one another causing them to put more water over that section which then caused them to put more water over the sections that was layed right. That is why the ice was thick in order to make it even.....Does that make any sense? I seen them lay it the first time and thought it wasn't right then......
does the team practice here or another rink. if they did practice, will will they practice now
