She is throwing a slew of 67 mph pitches as well.

    Two strikeouts of Chamberlain.

Baylor looking good this far. Am I right in assuming that this good for our RPI regardless of the outcome, but fantastic if the Bears can get some wins?

No, it actually hurts a bit if Baylor loses. This is why you hope your opponents play weak schedules and win as many games as possible. Conversely, this is why you avoid middle to lower tier "quality conference" teams that are still decent (think Arkansas) as they get beat up in conference, damaging the RPIs of the non-conference teams they play.

A win on the other hand allows you to have your cake and eat it too. Helps OWP and OOWP ... and in this case could vault Baylor near the Base RPI Top 25, resulting in more RPI bonus points for the Cajuns. So yes ... Incredibly fantastic if they can sweep and fantastic if they can win 2/3.

Stearns is still pumping 67 and 68 mph fastballs. Baylor leads OU 4-0 after 5 innings in Norman. This could be the first home loss of the season for the Sooners.

Very poor outing by Paige Parker. Remember, a freshman is a freshman is a freshman. Also remember, Stearns pitched well in the first game. She only gave up the two run homer to Elkins. She walked three batters in a row, then hit a batter to score a run. She threw a two hitter.
