Random Person (not as smart as CajunHawk) - did you see that game by Drew Bree's? He threw for 400yds and 3 Td's. It's a shame he threw that pick at the end of the game. It shouldn't have come down to that though. The defense can't give up 35 points.
CajunHawk (much smarter than random person) - can you get your nose out of Drew's fumble for a minute? The defense was playing him like a violin. They totally gave him the first 400 yards so they could set him up for the int. Playing against Brees is slightly tougher than playing against Jay Cutler. You do realize he has only won 1 Super Bowl!

The Brees conversation is always hilarious. People can't compartmentalize. It's possible to say that Drew was an all timer at the peak of his powers (with a Super Bowl roster around him), that the system he plays in dramatically benefits his numbers, that he's overpaid and hurting the rest of the 52 because of it, and that he's been bad (according to his standards) for 2 years. I don't give a rip that he throws for 500 a game against the Bucs twice a year and that his numbers still resemble the top tier QB's, Drew Brees has been mediocre when it matters (just like the majority of the roster) for a while now. Saints fans (of which I'm among the biggest and most loyal, even to my detriment) can be blind fools man..

We won't go 6-10. 10-6 is more likely. I think Brees is stil a top 10 QB, but I would rather draft a replacement who can learn the system and not be thrown into the deep end if it's not necessary.

That's what happened to the most versatile QB in the game, got to learn the game build trust in the lockeroom and then took over for Farve.
