Basketball against MT anyone???

_ The worst part about this game is that their best player was hampered by foul trouble all game and only had 7 points. We went into halftime with a 4 point lead and then proceeded to shoot 50% from the free throw line ALL game. Someone said it perfectly when they said that this team just doesn't know how to win and they almost look for a way to lose it. _

Almost everyone agrees Tyren Johnson is our best player and no one questions his effort. Yet he was 2 for 9 from the line last night. Difficult to explain. MT has played many games without their best player this year due to Yates being injured early in the year. When they lost him, they were still efficient. Gradnigo was our best offensive player last night and when he went out with foul trouble, the offense struggled due to the free throw line troubles. Of course Gradnigo got some stupid fouls with reach ins. Everything I just described is synonomous with a team that does not know how to win.

And that is exactly the point. This is a Senior laden team. The last few years should have been building for a killer team this year, but instead we're looking like a bunch of freshmen. In a situation like this, it's obvious that leadership is lacking.
