Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns wrap up a two-game Sun Belt road trip on Saturday, Jan. 2 in Murfreesboro, Tenn., facing Middle Tennessee at the Murphy Center.

● The Ragin' Cajuns - who opened Sun Belt play on Dec. 12 vs. FAU - resumed league play on New Year's Eve in Bowling Green, Ky., against Western Kentucky. That began a string of 17 straight SBC games to finish off the 2009-10 season.

● Louisiana seeks to end a four-game losing streak which began with a loss to Tulane last Monday at the Cajundome.

● Tonight's game marks the 15th overall between Louisiana and Middle Tennessee, eighth in Murfreesboro and sixth at the Murphy Center.

● The Blue Raiders have won the past four meetings between the two programs.

● The winner will lay claim to an 8-7 lead in the all-time series.

● The Ragin' Cajuns have been victorious in the first game of the "New Year" each of the past four seasons.

● Chris Gradnigo is beginning to find his groove. Prior to the Centenary game, he'd averaged 19.0 points per game and shot 24-of-53 from the floor (45%) in the previous four games.

● Eight of the Cajuns' 13 games have been decided by single digits.

● Tyren Johnson became the fourth Cajuns player to reach 500 career points, accomplishing the feat in last Monday's game with Tulane. He joins a group that includes Travis Bureau, Randell Daigle and Chris Gradnigo.
