I don't know what the salary demands of either would be. I suspect both would like to come back to Louisiana as they would be eligible for the state retirement system in a few years. This is due to their previous employment in the state. Pierre may see it as a step to a better job as it would be his first head coaching gig. If either were to get the job and move on to a better situation it would end being a good hire.

Pierre would be going to a smaller school, but he's familiar with the school and he would finally get to be a head coach. Kennedy would be upgrading himself and he's from Louisiana, so I think these two guys are our best bet.

I think Pierre really wants this job. He has applied to it before obviously. For Kennedy, it would be another job, with a new contract, closer to home.
