SS Kevin Lovelace went to NAIA Lewis-Clark State College due to grades. Thought he was going to get drafted and had too much work to make up after getting passed over.

Fixing the holes in Thad's swing is a big if that we've been waiting on for a few years now. He seems like a good kid and it's tough to see him struggle at the plate like he has. You just know if he can get on a roll, we'd have a really good bat. Last year it was HR, K or pop up.

I'm glad im not the only one excited about the start of the baseball season, I dont want to say it but I have a really good feeling about this schedule/year, I know these players are going to play their best but I do have a question that I hope will be answered early but doubt it will, Who is going to step up and become the leader of the team? The person that makes every player play 120% when they think they can only give 100%. We will have a better seasoned team but we still need that one (or hell i'd take 9) who "draws a line in the dirt." Can't wait to see you guys at the Tigue.
Put me in coach im ready to play...

I don't think anyone really knows at this point. Unfortunately I never made it out to any of the fall ball games, and thus makes it even more difficult. I will say this, there are only a few guarenteed spots on this team going in and those are Goulas, Olasin, Osbourne, Robe, and Keefer playing somewhere every day. Fontenot and Bostick will compete for their former jobs but both lack in something that the other one has (Fontenot has a great bat, lacks the fielding, bostick has the great glove but lacks the bat). Griffin will probably get another chance due to his big bat somewhere around the infield. WE definitely have more questions than answers going into this season.
