I'm glad that someone is stepping up like Johnson. What I just can not wrap my head around is how we are unmotivated and playing with little effort. I mean come on! When I used to play sports I could not wait to get on the field! Whether I had a problem with the coach or not I wanted to compete! I don't see that in this team.

What worries me is if playing basketball is the motivation for school (APR) what does lack of motivation for basketball say . . . ?

He says they need to sit. We'll know what kind of leader he is on Thiursday when they announce the starting line up. If he plays the same guys he just said "need to sit" the it means Lee has given up. igeaux.mobi

I'll take that bet. How about $100. I'll take Brad Boyd.

    What's the answer?

The Centenary game was the most pathetic game i've ever seen. They're what, D-III, NAIA, something like that? First Mobile, and now this? I finally realized what i've been suspecting all along: it's the coach. Lee is a nice guy, but since he's been head coach, all I've seen is our boys playing "street ball". Or maybe you can call it "first open player takes a shot". We never run plays, we just kinda run around. It was the most undisciplined ball-playing I've ever seen. It's painful to watch. We cannot win on pure athleticism. We need our players to have a coach that can have them run some plays and even more importantly, get them MOTIVATED to play. Something has GOT to change.

I agree. Pretty pathetic. They are currently D-I, soon to move down along with UNO to D-III.
