I am thinking Trahan might have a slight overall edge over Luc, due to his defensive wizardry. The guy could anchor most MLB infields today. BT will be in the big leagues for good as soon as he proves he can hit MLB pitching, maybe before.
Luc was offensively dominant almost from day 1, with gaudy OPS of .971, 1.000 and 1.067. He was obviously very serviceable behind the dish in college, ultimately mastering the defensive side of the game in pro ball. There is a higher learning curve at C compared with SS.
Trahan's current OPS is 1.021, approaching Luc's level his draft year.
